Tip No 7: This website was made with 100% used cardboard boxes
At least that is the claim of www.usedcardboardboxes.com which is a service across the US. Interestingly this company attempts to buy and resell quality used, new, misprinted and overrun cardboard boxes.
I wonder if they have a service outside the US? Also would it be ethical or useful for them to harvest cardboard boxes from freecycling groups?

About
Stemming from my experiences of giving and receiving items through the concept of Freecycling, this blog is a critique of the industry known as the “gift economy”. I started out as just another freecycler, then moderator. Then something happened that propelled me into being a movement activist. Much of what is written concerns the controversy surrounding The Freecycle Network (TFN). There are many articles referring back to the origins of the company, and indeed events that led up to its creation. This is therefore an activists blog.
If anyone sees anything incorrect please let me know and I will do what I can to correct them. Any errors and omissions are mine. All comments are welcome and indeed if anyone wishes to suggest future topics, or other sites related to the subject of the future of freecycling please tell me now, not tomorrow.
Returning freecycling back to the movement.

I have never used their service, but I’ve been in contact with them about offering Tiger Tacos, and I can tell you that they have five (5) distribution centers in the U.S. and nothing outside.
You can see what their buying requirements are on their site, but I don’t think they can/would be able to get boxes from any service like this as I think they need consistent sizes and quality.
I thought their “Tip/Claim” was cute and what they do is a really great thing (reusing is SO much better then recycling) and that’s why we emailed them about our tacos.
As to freecycling boxes, what i find really exciting is what U-Haul is doing to used boxes: http://www.uhaul.com/boxexchange (we sell new tacos on Uhaul.com).
