Freecycling

Fighting for freerecyling

Actually there is

Before my time… There was an insinuation that TFN was able to demand of Yahoo Groups that they delete groups without warning, and they TFN used this technique to instigate replacement groups and moderators unilaterally. I am sure that is just plain heresay, and I am sorry for repeating it. I am quite sure no-one at TFN would ever wish to act unilaterally to disenfranchise local members and moderators. Research indicates the practice, which I am sure never happened, stopped when Yahoo realised that TFN’s claim to own word Freecycle was being rejected.

These days groups can have Freecycle in their name whether they affiliate with TFN, or not. If I am wrong about all this please do comment.
