Freecycling

Fighting for freerecyling

Issue 10: We all love idiosyncracy

One of the true beauties of the current Yahoo Groups delivery of freecycling is it’s idiosyncratic behaviour. Ok this is frustrating as well but I just love it, and I think you do to. A few minutes ago I signed up to a UK competitor, ecyclebin and was frankly very disappointed. I asked for items on offer in Oxford and technically it delivered exactly what I asked for. But there was no heart. This is a soulless website. There is no humour, no opportunity to feel part of a community. The website may be efficient and hopefully it will reduce landfill. But I would never use the site again in a million Sundays.

Do you want another ecyclebin?
