Fighting for freerecyling

Another one bites the dust…

I have absolutely 100% confidence that the core aims of TFN are for the greater good.  Also I have 100% confidence that every person is extremely well meaning and very eco-friendly.  And I am also 100% sure that TFN thinks to itself, we have been here before, we will lick this one easily.

But their is a serious disjoint.  On the one side you have the core aims, well meaningness and an attitude that says we fight battles.  On the other side the wider movement says we want to reduce landfill, we want to build communities, we want to help others who are less well off than ourselves.

And because of this disjoint each day another group bites the dust.  Each day a freecycling group either leaves or is excommunicated from TFN – each day this happens.  Whose group will it be tomorrow?
