Fighting for freerecyling

Should businesses be allowed to use freecycling groups?

My take on this is that yes, of course businesses should be allowed to use freecycling groups.  No one objects to them offering items they want to get rid of, so why should people object to them obtaining a few items.  Also anyway if the primary goal of freecycling is to remove items from landfill, then if no one else wants an item it is far far better that the item is obtained by a company rather than heading to landfill.

What is objectionable is if a person or organisation dominates obtaining items, and as I indicate that is true whether it is an individual or a company.  The only exception to this is if the company obtaining items is an accepted and known charity, then I think that they should be allowed to forage for items more freely, especially if they have a specific project in mind.

What’s your take or experience of this?
