Fighting for freerecyling

Shove your morals right up your…

I do not condone guns or gun carrying, but I quite happily accept some members of society thinks them a necessary part of life. Similarly I do not condone smoking, but I quite happily accept that some people may wish to smoke in the privacy of their own home. Now what about whether some mother should feed their baby breast milk, or use formula milk. What?

Surely Andy has lost his marbles here. As reported today on ThreeSeven it appears that some freecycling group’s moderator has used as an excuse for banning a posting offering formula milk the fact that the World Health Organisation say formula feeding is not the best choice.

Now I could see at a stretch banning such an item on the grounds of it being a drug, since it is in freecycling rules to generally ban drugs. Of course although formula feed for babies contains “drugs”, but in reality probably not much more than any ready-made and mass-produced food product.

To ban it on these grounds seems a step too far, and I can only agree with ThreeSeven.
