Tool No 1: FoxClocks

In a new series we are going to start pulling together the tools that turn a normal moderator into a super moderator.  To be a super moderator you need to take not only your group seriously, you also need to take your email experience seriously, your whole computer environment seriously and pivotal to that is taking your browser seriously.

Any serious moderator forgets Internet Explorer.  Not only is IE considered very widely as a security risk there is a much better browser called Firefox.  Firefox is so brilliant because it has a wide range of extensions there to make your life as a moderator better, much better.

I am going to start this series with FoxClocks.  This add-in puts any of a range of clocks in different time zones into your status bar.  This is so important when you are trying to communicate with other moderators who may be anywhere in the world.  It is only polite to be able to know that someone else has just got out of bed for breakfast or is just heading for bed.
